BPI Express Phone: All circuits are busy now

Early this morning, I got locked out of my Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Trading account after I incorrectly entered my password three times. Apparently, I had forgotten that I changed my password a few days ago.

Around 10 in the morning, I called BPI’s Customer Phone Support at 89-100 or 891-0000 to help me reset my password. What greeted me was the pre-recorded message, “Sorry, all circuits are busy now. Please try again later.”

Ok, fine, I’ll try again in 10 minutes.

Ring, ring! “Sorry, all circuits are busy now. Please try again later.”

Thirty minutes later: “Sorry, all circuits are busy now. Please try again later.”

Before 12 noon, I think I made more than 10 calls to BPI and yet none of my calls got through. I tried three other phone lines to check if the problem was on my side but not even one of my calls got connected.

This afternoon, around 3:30, I telephoned them again but all I heard was the same message.

“Sorry, all circuits are busy now. Please try again later.”

Try again when exactly? @#$%^&!!

    • Is the 89100 of BPI really work?? it seems like that number is not working, i keep getting voice prompt saying ALL CIRCUITS ARE BUSSY NOW, PLEASE TRY YOUR CALL LATER. I trust them my money and now i cant call them when i need help.

      • yes 89100 works,it will just take ages before you can talk to a rep.patience is a virtue they said, lol! i got to bathe my dog when i got through, i just put them on loudspeaker so that i can do chores while waiting than to piss me off hearing their annoying “ting ting ting ting tining bckground music!” grawl!

  1. I thought I am alone in experiencing such service from BPI. I always experience that. If I can’t connect to their site online, I call them and they still seem to be ‘offline’. They should improve on their services.

  2. not only with BPI, but also with all other banks.
there oughta be a law requiring them to make sure that their hotlines work

  3. please send me any telephone numbers to contact ..coz i wnat to confirm my credit card and my savings how come ders no update of my accounts not like before i want to confirm my ATM whether it is still activated or not if it is not where is my money dat i have seen since september and october ,,,it is just a small amount but to someone like us not rich namn this is big already…thanks

  4. Its not the tel company. Its BPI system that sucks. I already got into their computerized assistance and just press and selected that I wanted to talk to the phone banker. The phone banker said was busy and either I have to wait or end the call. Then later, after waiting for about 5 to 10 min that my call will attended soon, and then after 5 to 10 min again,  I heard the first message again, and this message alternately changes after 5 to 10 min for more than an hour. Imagine phone banker is busy for more than 1 hour……….

  5. Hi, the first letter was sent to my billing address, not my shipping address. I do not know if it is just me or other persons had this challenge but I just wanted to let you guys know. It was definitely disappointing not getting the letter where I’m proper now!

  6. Hay Naku! nakakairita na. Mula kaninang Umaga pa. naka 30-50 calls na ako wala pa rin. Both Metro manila and domestic number. wala.

  7. Still the same ’til now. 89-100 is supposed to be available 24/7 (as they have advertised it), but even if you try to call, be it 9PM, 1AM or even 4AM, phone bankers are still unavailable
Hopefully they can fix this ASAP
